Community Membership Executive (FT) - serving Geauga County
The Community Membership Executive (CME) develops, retains, and increases girl/adult membership in assigned area; recruits and provides ongoing support to volunteers; assists in developing and implementing plans for membership extension in all markets; represents and extends Girl Scouting in the community through presentations, collaborative efforts, and networking; and ensures the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is accessible within assigned area. The right individual will have a Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience commensurate with degree; record of successfully developing and/or managing volunteers; strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking and relationship building; demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution; ability to pay close attention to detail; maintain confidentiality; have computer literacy and technical knowledge of computer software programs such as Word, Publisher, Excel and the internet; ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary; well disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self-starter, able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines; ability to work well as a part of a team; thorough understanding of local as well as regional markets; excellent customer service skills; commitment to inclusiveness; knowledge of the Girl Scout program preferred; ability to meet travel requirements, including night, weekend and overnight travel; valid driver’s license; and access to insured vehicle in working condition.
